Normand George Morrissette

Normand George Morrissette, 88, of Canyon Lake passed away July 15 peacefully with his loved ones by his side.

Norm was born in Fall River, MA  in 1934. He moved to California in 2001 where he met his wife Lynda. They married and moved to Canyon Lake in 2004.

Norm served in the US Navy. He coached high school baseball, football and basketball for 30 years. He was an active member of the Canyon Lake Men’s Golf Club for 15 years and also ran the “Over the Hill Gang” for 10 years.

Norm loved to cheer on the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He was their #1 fan. Norm enjoyed bowling, golfing and playing poker machines at the local casinos.

He is survived by his wife Lynda, two sons Roger and Billy and his favorite dogs Gina and Chief. Their combined families consist of six children, 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

He will be dearly missed.
