CL Family Matters Club to provide ice cream craft, snack

Summer fun ice cream will be the theme of the July monthly meeting of The Canyon Lake Family Matters Club and kids will be treated to both making ice cream crafts and eating ice cream treats.

The meeting will take place at the Eastport Building on July 30 at 1:00 p.m. The club’s monthly meetings had gone into hiatus due to COVID-19, but are now back to being held on a monthly basis. These meetings are designed for the entire family to enjoy.

After a short social period, the club will present a quick update on its current and upcoming activities, followed by the family-oriented activity. Those attending will create crafts of ice cream bars and cones. Afterward, ice cream treats will be served.

“We are looking forward to seeing everyone,” club founder Shawna Bowen said. “Please RSVP on our Facebook event page or by email at…. info@familymattersclub.org so we have a head count.”
