Chamber women meet for networking Happy Hour

The Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce held its first “Women in Business” networking meeting at the Canyon Cowboy in the Canyon Lake Town Center. The quarterly meeting took place during Happy Hour and 13 women were in attendance.

With the goal of the chamber being to support local businesses, the Chamber held this event for its women members and asked them what the chamber could do to support women in business. The event consisted of 13 women who talked about their businesses and what events they would like to see in the future.

The meetings are expected to take place quarterly and include speakers who will address topics such as social media and marketing.

“Canyon Cowboy was a lovely host,” the chamber’s Erin Adams said. “Feel free to reach out to me directly with any questions or ideas.”

The event, which was designed for business women to connect, network, and make friends, included a drink and light appetizers in the Happy Hour setting.
