Canyon Lake Gardeners Club invites community to pick blueberries

The Canyon Lake Community Gardeners Club is headed to Temecula tomorrow to pick blueberries and is inviting members of the community to join them. Those who would like to join the garden club members on the trip to the “You Pick” Blueberries Farm should contact Kelly Lopez at 951-609-6723.

Another garden workshop is planned for June 3 at 10:00 a.m. at Sierra Park. The theme of this garden workshop is, “adventure garden” and it is open to those of all ages. The workshop will be similar to the miniature fairy and dinosaur garden workshop held recently by the club.

Membership for the club is $25 per person or $40 per household and runs from May 1 thru April 30 of 2024. Benefits of the membership include discounts to workshops, participation in free harvest/plant and seed swaps as well as many more perks.

Kelly said she loves helping new gardeners learn to garden. For more information on the club email Kelly at clcommunitygardners@gmail.com.
