Local National Day of Prayer at fire station

The Canyon Lake Fire Station on Vacation Drive will be the site of the Canyon Lake 10th Annual National Day of Prayer on Thursday at 10:00 a.m.

All are invited to attend. Refreshments will be served and a time to mingle takes place at 9:30 a.m. The program begins at 10:00 a.m.

This year, the event will include speakers, patriotic music and prayer. Canyon Lake church members, city officials, club members and businesses will participate in the program. The national theme this year is “pray fervently in righteousness and avail much,” James 5:16.

City of Canyon Lake Mayor Jeremy Smith will be the emcee for the day. The program will begin with the Elsinore High School Flying Tigers Junior ROTC Color Guard presentation of the colors.

The day is designed to be one where community members come together to pray for their community, state, nation, and for those who protect the city and serve to protect the country.
