CL Tennis Club’s adds 13 new members at Mixer Tournament

The Canyon Lake Tennis Club’s April New Member Mixer Tournament’s goal was to add new members while putting on a fun tournament. Both were fulfilled. The club added 13 new members and great competition made for a great tournament.

The winners in the tournament were Jim Barringham, Jully Martilla, Phil Braun, Sandy Wible Correll and Jonathan Correll. The highest scoring team was Melissa Connor,  Michelle Porter, Farzad Adib, Jennifer Denson, Shantae Short, Payo Clay and Wes Clay. The racket winners were Phil Braun and Sandy Wible.

The Cinco De Mayo Tournament is the next club mixer and will take place May 6. The deadline to sign up is Wednesday. Participants will be signed up on a first come, first serve basis. All others will be put on the waitlist.

To participate in the tournament costs $25 and includes dinner and play. For those not playing, the fee is $15 and includes dinner only. Tacos and desserts are on the menu.
