Sternads visit South America

Canyon Lake’s Tom and Nancy Sternad grabbed their Friday Flyer and posed in front of the Iguazu Falls, the world‘s largest waterfalls measured by volume and stretching 1.7 miles during a recent trip to South America. The couple departed on a two-week cruise out of Buenos Aires and sailed to the southernmost cities in Argentina, around Cape Horn and on to Antarctica. Upon their return to Buenos Aires, they flew to Puerto Iguazu on the border between Argentina and Brazil to visit the waterfalls. They were able to visit both the Argentinian side and the Brazilian side of the falls for what they said was a spectacular pair of views of the landmark. Overall it was a great time,” Tom said. “We felt very fortunate to have been able to visit two continents and such major destinations during our three-week trip.”
