POA announces candidates

Incumbents Renee Griffiths and Alex Cook, Jeanne O‘Dell, Chris Papavero, Jeff Bill, Rita Bendlin, and Joe Kamashian have successfully entered as candidates for this year’s Canyon Lake Property Owners Association Board of Directors. There are three seats up in the May election. The third incumbent, Tim Cook, is not running for reelection.

The Canyon Lake POA operates under a five-member Board of Directors who collectively manage and operate the association’s business affairs. Homeowners of Canyon Lake elect the Board of Directors for staggered two-year terms, and they work closely with the Corporate Department to ensure that all duties and responsibilities are executed efficiently.

As per the association’s protocol, the Board of Directors elections are held annually in May. For the 2023-24 election, three of the five seats will be up for grabs. The seven candidates running for the 2023-25 Board of Directors include all members who have expressed their intention to run for the upcoming election.
