Bunco dice were rolling at the Senior Center

The Canyon Lake Woman’s Club held its first Bunco of the year on Saturday at the Canyon Lake Senior Center.

Over 30 ladies showed up to roll the dice for fun and a few of the ladies took home prizes for Most Buncos, Most Baby Buncos, Most Wins and Most Losses.

The afternoon was filled with wine of choice, mimosa’s, apple cider, water and lots of finger foods and desserts.

“I can’t thank my co-chairs enough for all their help and dedication to making this event a big success,” Samantha Gorrell, committee chairwoman, said. “These events require a lot of planning to make sure we don’t miss anything. More importantly, as a committee, we dedicate ourselves to making sure that everyone at the event is having a good time.”

Club President Shawna Bowen also had words of praise for those who helped with the event.

“I want to thank everyone for coming out and supporting our fundraiser,” Shawna said. “These events allow us to do all the philanthropic endeavors within the community. I would like to give a special thank you to Samantha Gorrell and Rose Marie Hand and their committee for putting together yet another fabulous event for the Woman’s Club.”

The committee for Bunco included Samantha and Rose Marie as well as Jane Laugherty, Laurie Wheaton, Pam Debry, Lani Debry, Karen Wallace, Barbara Duncan, Tarrie Sullivan, Calista Grande and Adessa Walker.
