Lucille Blood turning 101

Canyon Lake’s Lucille Blood will be celebrating her 101st birthday with an open house tomorrow for family and friends at her home on Gray Fox with some champagne, snacks and cake.

Family and friends are invited to stop by between noon and 5:00 p.m. and stay a bit, or stay all day. Lucille said she will be happy to see those dear to her.

Last year, Lucille rang in her 100th birthday at the Canyon Lake Lodge with a Roaring 20’s party celebration.

“It was like no other,” friend Marga Kidd said. “It truly was fabulous.”
