Chamber names Proactive Legal Business of Month

Proactive Legal/The Bock Law Group was selected by the Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors as the November Business of the Month.

“Being a part of the Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce has allowed our law firm to further support our fellow local Canyon Lake area small businesses through networking, grand opening/ribbon cutting events and the opportunity to offer future in-person seminars in our area of expertise,” Brian Bock of the firm said. “We enjoy getting to know other chamber members in our business community and see the beneficial aspects to referral relationships and the chance to offer support to new or struggling organizations as well as mentorships.”

Brian feels his business’ chamber membership is beneficial because of the cross branding between chamber local businesses and their own business on social media. He finds being listed on the chamber website brings in future business, recognition, credibility and referral opportunities.

“Connections we make through the chamber, including both business and personal, are invaluable to us as a local business and as business owners,” he said.

Both the Speed Networking event and the Parade of Frights were Brian’s favorite chamber events this year.

“The ‘speed-dating-like’ version of networking was quick paced, fun and we learned a great deal about other chamber members and their businesses,” he said. “We also enjoyed being a participant and sponsor of the Parade of Frights, where we not only connected with fellow Chamber members, but we met Canyon Lake families and saw lots of super cute Halloween costumes.”
