Friends gather to parade over to the Veterans Day event

Some friends gathered at the Eastport parking lot on Veterans Day with their golf carts decorated in patriotic colors and flags to show their support for a day that is close to many of their hearts.

The small group gathered and made a caravan by way of golf cart from Eastport to Holiday Harbor, waving flags and showing their appreciation in support for those who lost their lives, those who served and those who continue to serve.

Many of the golf carts were playing patriotic music as they made their way to their final destination to join in the celebration put on by the City of Canyon Lake at Holiday Harbor Park.
