CL Woman’s Club announces third Holiday Home Tour house

The third of five houses chosen for the Canyon Lake Woman’s Club Holiday Home Tour next month has been revealed. The third home belongs to Brett and Sue Law and is located at 30394 Point Marina Dr.

The annual Holiday Home Tour will take place on Dec. 3 and is open to the community as a major fundraiser for the club.

The tour theme of the Law home is “Family Christmas.”

Walking up a tree-lined walk-way, those on the tour will be met with impressive glass and iron doors which lead into the entrance to this beautiful 3,500 square foot waterfront home.

The living area and kitchen feature travertine, granite and stainless steel appliances with pendant lighting over an island. The autumn tree that is displayed in this area is transformed into a Christmas tree for the season.

The Law family purchases one new Christmas tree ornament each year. This has been their tradition for the past 33 years, and each of those 33 ornaments are hung on the tree.

Outside, visitors will find a two-tiered tropical yard where there are beautiful views of the East Bay.

Once back inside, the formal dining room is graced with a huge mirror reflecting a garland-draped staircase.

Upstairs are a granite bar, pool table and game room. The comfy couches, TV and wall unit make this area a wonderful gathering place.

This is a traditional family home and represents the Family Christmas theme well. Most of the holiday decorations belonged to Sue’s mother and now are part of the Laws’ current family traditions.

The Laws’ home joins two other houses that have been previously announced as part of the tour. Those two are the homes of Henry and Beth Parks, located at 30369 Longhorn Dr. and John and Erin Waite, located at 22238 Whirlaway Court. The club will announce the remaining two homes, one at a time over the next two weeks leading up to the home tour. Also part of the Woman’s Club’s Dec. 3 event is the tree raffle along with vendors at the Canyon Lake Lodge in the Holiday Bay Room.
