This view over East Bay looking west from Sea Horse Circle last week of the SpaceX rocket contrail caused quite a stir. The UFO claims ran rampant. In reality, it was the result of a SpaceX rocket being launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base in Santa Barbara County. The rocket carried 53 StarLink satellites into low-Earth orbit. The satellites are part of a growing network of small satellites intended to provide remote internet service.
