Parade of Frights at Canyon Lake Town Center tomorrow

Canyon Lake kids are kicking off the Halloween Weekend tomorrow (Saturday) collecting bags full of goodies as they trek door-to-door around the Canyon Lake Town Center at the annual Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce Parade of Frights.

The trick or treating begins at 9:00 a.m. and kids are encouraged to grab a map from the booth at the Town Center showing the participating businesses. Participating businesses will stamp the treasure maps when the trick or treaters stop by to collect treats. Those who complete the map will be eligible to win a prize at the drawing afterwards.

More than 800 community members are expected at the annual Parade of Frights. The trick or treating will end at 11:00 a.m. and the maps should be turned in at its conclusion.

After the trick or treating, the chamber will conduct a Halloween Costume Contest Parade at 11:30 a.m. There will be carnival games available for the kids throughout the morning.
