Canyon Lake girls help TCHS in CIF Volleyball

Five Canyon Lake girls assisted the Temescal Canyon High School volleyball team to its best finish in its history. The team advanced to the second round of the CIF playoffs after defeating Indio, 3-0. Its season ended on Saturday where it lost to Simi Valley. Canyon Lake’s Delaney Jones, #3, spikes at the net against Indio, while Jillian Acuna, #13, sets during the match. Other Canyon Lake girls on the team are Dakota Allsberry, a senior, Audrey Duarte, a sophomore and Veronica Garza, a sophomore. The team finished in second place in league and entered the playoff ranked #11. Elsinore High School has a strong team, but fell earlier in the season to TCHS for the first time in four years.
