Flags available for Field of Honor on Veterans Day

The City of Canyon Lake Veterans Day Committee is planning its Veterans Day Celebration which will take place on Veterans Day, Nov. 11. The committee is going to place about 200 flags at the Veterans Memorial Park in the Canyon Lake Town Center on Nov. 5, where they will stay until the day after the celebration.

Whoever wishes to honor a veteran with a flag can do so with a $10 donation by Nov. 7. Each flag will have a ribbon with the name of the honoree. Donors can pick up their flags after the Veteran’s Day event at the Field of Honor anytime on Nov. 12, or anytime thereafter at Pack, Wrap and Post.

To reserve a Flag of Honor for a veteran, place $10 in an envelope with name, mailing address and email address, along with the name of the person being honored and bring to Pack Wrap and Post, 31516 Railroad Canyon Road in the Canyon Lake Town Center.
