Dock or Treat cruising lake tomorrow

Craig Brown is organizing a repeat of last year’s successful Dock or Treat event where Canyon Lake kids dress up and via boat visit dressed-up docks to collect the treats. The event will take place tomorrow (Saturday) from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Those who have a dock and would like to participate can get their dock listed on Craig’s Google Map.

“If you plan to participate in decorating your dock please post your address and family name on the Facebook post,” he said. “I will be working on the virtual map next week once we get some participants to add. Looking forward to making it bigger and better than last year.”

Canyon Lake Dock or Treat is a community event aimed at bringing the Halloween Spirit down to the water.

“Sign up to have your dock haunt featured on the map,” Craig said. “Choose to decorate only or also hand out candy to boats during our specified event time. No dock, no problem. Join in the fun by signing up to hand out candy from one of the main lake public docks.”
