October 15, 1956 — August 12, 2022

Christine Ann Greer, 65, of Canyon Lake passed away at Inland Valley Medical Center on August 12, 2022 after battling cancer. Family and friends were by her side in the hours before the Lord called her home. Chris was born October 15, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan.

Chris’ late parents, Dr. Robert and Phyllis Gibson, were long-time Canyon Lake residents. Chris was well known in the area having multiple businesses over the past 40 years including Kids !n Action Child Care, partner in Law Offices of Beck & Greer, avocado farmer, partner in Curry Vineyards, and accomplished real estate broker.

Chris attended Cornerstone Community Church and belonged to the Canyon Lake Woman‘s Club. Chris will be remembered for her infectious smile, her outgoing personality, generous heart, and love of life.

Chris graduated from Chico State, Western Law School, and completed a semester of law at Cambridge University in England.

Chris met her husband Richard in 1995 studying for the Bar Exam together. They had an instant attraction, but waited until they had raised their respective children before marrying in 2004. For 27 years Chris and Richard were inseparable.

Chris is survived by her husband Richard, sons Taylor and Hank, step-children Jennifer, Emily, and Jonathon, her sisters Cindy and Connie, brother Robert, and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She also leaves behind a host of friends, colleagues. and students whom she cared about very much.

There will be a memorial celebration of her life at 11:00 a.m., Oct. 8, 2022 at Cornerstone Community Church, 34570 Monte Vista Drive, Wildomar. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to Cornerstone Community Church.
