Learn to Ride

A young rider learns to wakeboard at a previous Learn to Ride event put on by the Canyon Lake Wakeboard Club. The club is at it again tomorrow (Saturday) morning, providing wakeboard and wakesurf lessons for those of all ages and skill levels. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. with the “last pull” taking place at approximately 3:00 p.m. Participants are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost is $35 per person for non-members and $30 for club members. All gear, boats and coaches are provided, but riders are also welcome to bring their own gear. The Learn to Ride event will take place in the Backwater area of the North Ski Area north of the causeway.
