Car Club participates in Big Bear Fun Run

The Canyon Lake Car Club went to Big Bear for the Big Bear Fun Run Saturday where two members received awards for their entries.

Canyon Lake Car Club’s Mike Kidd won for his 1965 El Camino and Joe Landin for his Oldsmobile 442.

“It was a beautiful day despite the hour-long thunderstorm that swept through Big Bear,” Perry Beggs, the club’s president said. “It was a wonderful weekend with fellow car enthusiasts and we are looking forward to more road trips in the future.” On Friday, club members enjoyed a potluck get together and on Saturday, they were all able to show their cars.
