Canyon Lake comes alive with 4NR

4NR, a popular Foreigner tribute band, took the stage at the Canyon Lake Lodge Saturday to a sold out Canyon Lake Fine Arts Guild crowd full of spirited fans of the famous band.

The band, which is dedicated to recreating the sound and spirit of the classic band Foreigner, was rocking from the first song to the last song where it had the crowd on its feet reliving the sound of Foreigner’s biggest hits.

The high-energy band filled the stage with guitars, keyboards, harmony vocals led by lead vocalist Kyle Frost, who performed as Foreigner lead vocalist Lou Gramm.

Throughout the evening, the audience could be heard singing along with Foreigner hit songs like, Juke Box Hero, Feels Like the First Time, I Want to Know What Love Is, Cold as Ice, Double Vision and others.

“It was an unforgettable evening of 1970’s and 1980’s rock and roll,” Guild President Bonnie Dubbs said. “Many were able to relive the magic of Foreigner’s music as presented by 4NR.”

Bonnie was complimentary of the new sound and lighting system, and gave thanks to Larry Garland, Daryl Ballou and the Canyon Lake POA.

“The Guild is a non-profit organization that presents top tribute bands to Canyon Lake,” Bonnie said. “We appreciate and thank all of those who partake and enjoy our concerts. Without their support, we would not be able to provide enjoyable music to our community as well as complimentary programs that promote quality entertainment.”

The Canyon Lake Fine Arts Guild has two more tribute concerts on the year’s schedule.

First up will be Harbor Fest 2022, with headliner RagDolls, an Aerosmith tribute band. The RagDolls concert is a free concert at the Holiday Harbor Amphitheater on Sept. 24. Harbor Fest will be an all day event.
