Woman’s Club holding ‘Meet and Greet’ Sunday

Those women interested in finding out more about the Canyon Lake Woman’s Club will have an opportunity on Sunday to get their questions answered at a “Meet and Greet” get together Sunday between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

The event is part of the club’s membership drive and will take place at Woman’s Club President Shawna Bowen’s home at 29873 Mayflower Dr. Those attending will have an opportunity to meet and greet some of the members of the Woman’s Club and find out what the club does for the Canyon Lake community.

“Ever thought of joining the Canyon Lake Woman’s Club or wonder what we do for the community?” Shawna said. “The club is the oldest sanctioned club in Canyon Lake for women 18-118. Come on out for an afternoon of drinks and appetizers to learn all about us. This is our 50th Anniversary year and we have wonderful things planned.”

Those who don’t live in Canyon Lake can be sponsored by a current member, Shawna said.
