Members of the Canyon Lake Travel Club took a 4-day, 3-night trip to Hearst Castle and the Central California Coast last month for the club’s latest excursion.
Much of the trip included visiting various wineries in the area.
“Everyone had a great time,” the club’s Loretta Dudziak said. “The food and accommodations were good quality, the wines were terrific and our guide was outstanding.”
The Travel Club‘s next big adventure will take members to the famous Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. The trip takes place from Sept. 30 to Oct. 5 and will include all transportation including airfare and being picked up in Canyon Lake and driven to the Ontario Airport.
The adventure includes two nights in Albuquerque to enjoy the balloon fiesta. The next stop will be Santa Fe for three nights.
Highlights of the adventure include a visit to Los Alamos Bradbury Science Museum, the “High Road” to Taos scenic drive, Taos Pueblo tour, and Santa Fe city tour. Santa Fe and Taos altitudes are over 7,000 feet.
Price for the six-day trip is $2,799 for double occupancy, $3,549 for single occupancy, and $2,769 for triple occupancy. Cost includes Canyon Lake pick up, round trip flight from Ontario to Albuquerque, deluxe coach, touring and admission fees, daily breakfast and two dinners, hotel transfers, tour manager, and taxes/fees.
A $350.00 deposit is required at the time of booking. Final payment is due by July 15.
