Bob goes fishing in Maui

Canyon Lake’s Bob and Michelle Burns recently returned from Maui, Hawaii where Bob took their copy of The Friday Flyer on a fishing trip during their stay. Bob and Michelle have both spent a lot of time on the island due to Bob’s flight benefits from his previous career as a Captain for Delta Air Lines. The benefits continue to help them travel there whenever they can.

“One of my favorite things to do when we arrive on the island is to book a four-or-five-hour fishing trip with UFO Adventures Inshore Fishing and Parasail Company,” Bob said. “The goal each time is to catch some fish the first couple days, so that we can eat fresh fish during our stay. I always request to go with my favorite crew, Captain Stephanie and Johnnie, if they are available.”

Johnnie joined Bob on the boat during the Burns’ recent Maui trip. Bob’s goal to catch enough fish to eat during their stay was easily met. He caught a Bluefin Trevally (pictured in the accompanying photo) as well as Ta’ape (blue striped snapper) and Nabetas.
