West Point graduate

Cadet Cooper Smith, son of Bart and Mindy Smith of Canyon Lake, and grandson of Mitch and Virginia Marshall also of Canyon Lake, graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point last month. Cooper is a 2018 Temescal Canyon High School graduate. While at West Point, he concentrated his studies in American history. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army within the Aviation branch and will report to Fort Rucker, AL for his first assignment.
