Canyon Lake Chamber schedules Ribbon Cuttings

The Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce has scheduled three upcoming business ribbon cuttings and is inviting the community to participate.

The first event will take place on June 24 for Daisy Dukez in the Canyon Lake Town Center. Town Center restaurant PZA will hold a ribbon cutting on July 8 and Canyon Lake Solar, located at the Eastport Center, will have its ribbon cutting on July 15.

Canyon Lake student makes Bethany Honor Roll

Brooke M. Harrison, a Communication & Theatre major, was named to Bethany College Honor Roll. The Canyon Lake student made the Academic Dean’s Honor Roll after completing at least a 3.5 GPA for the semester.

Brooke was one of 213 students at the school to be placed on the honor roll.

Bethan College is located in Lindborg, KS and is a college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

Neighbors Magazine to hold a meet and greet with band Savor

Neighbors Magazine publisher Dawna Thibodeau and her staff are holding a “Meet and Greet” Sunday at the Holiday Harbor Amphitheater from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and the community is invited. Live music from the band Savor, a Santana tribute band, will be on stage performing covers to Santana hits.
