Cancer Fair hot success

The inaugural Cancer in Our Community Canyon Lake Cancer Fair was a huge success as bands took to the stage and the crowd of about 500 participants throughout the day found shade to combat the heat, but still enjoy the entertainment Saturday. Boats also meandered on the backside of the stage to enjoy the day. Booths, food, keynote speaker, Tap Truck and so many other amenities of the fair took place at the Holiday Harbor Park. The event raised $5,000 for Michelle’s Place Cancer Resource Center in Temecula and $1,000 for the American Cancer Fighter Foundation. The day of the fair turned out to be the hottest day of the week, with the weather cooling off as soon as the next day.
