Travel Club takes day trip to LA

The Canyon Lake Travel Club took a day trip to Los Angeles to take in Cirque du Soleil’s OVO at the Microsoft Theater. After the show, there was ample time for club members to visit the different restaurants of their choice at LA Live for a late lunch.

Club members are now headed out on another day trip, this one to San Diego Safari Park and Bernardo Winery on June 16.

Those going on the outing will leave Eastport Park by bus at 9:00 a.m. and head out to the Escondido Safari Park where they will visit the Botanical Gardens, Australian Walkabout and then take a tram ride around several of the wild animal areas.

After the adventure at Safari Park, the group will head over to Bernardo Winery, the Southern California’s oldest winery, for wine tasting. After lunch, the group will visit the marketplace shops before heading back to Canyon Lake around 4:00 p.m.
