Community Theatre to present Evening of Musical Melodies

An Evening of Musical Melodies Revue will take place May 21 by the Canyon Lake Community Theatre. The local talent will dazzle the audience, organizers promise, as they perform Broadway tunes on the Indian Beach Amphitheater stage.

Numbers will include songs from shows such as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor DreamCoat, Shrek, Hello Dolly, Dear Evan Hanson, Into the Woods, Annie and more.

The Canyon Lake Community Theatre is still running its GoFundMe campaign to help raise funds to put on a full-scale production later this summer, Nicole Garvito, VP of Admin on the organization‘s board of directors, said. Being a non-profit organization, COVID-19 hit the company hard and funds are quite low, she said.

“We want to thank the community for anything they can do to help,” Nicole said. “We express our deepest gratitude.”
