CL Travel Club to take day trip to Safari Park

Grab your walking shoes and sunscreen and hop on the bus departing from Eastport’s lower parking lot at 9:00 a.m. on June 16 headed for the San Diego Safari Park.

The day trip will take participants to the botanical gardens, Australian Walkabout and take a tram ride around several of the wild animal areas.

After the Safari Park adventure, the bus will stop at Bernardo Winery, the oldest in Southern California for wine tasting. Lunch will be served in the tasting room and visiting marketplace shops before boarding the bus and returning back to Canyon Lake around 4:00 p.m.

Those attending the trip may opt out of the wine tasting (-$20.00), and still join friends for lunch in the tasting room. Lunch is not provided in the price of the trip.

Total cost for members is $159.00 per person and guests is $164.00 per person. The fee includes coach transportation, park admission, wine tasting, water and bus driver’s gratuity.

Reservations must be received by May 25.
