Queen Mary wedding axed, couple finally ties the knot

Bree and Tyler Cooper have waited three years to celebrate their wedding with family and friends. Their dreams finally were realized at a wedding held outside on the Canyon Lake Lodge grass area, followed by a festive reception in the Holiday Bay Room.

The couple’s original wedding of their dreams was planned for the Queen Mary three years ago. But just days before the big day, the Queen Mary filed for bankruptcy and the wedding was canceled.

With the wedding suddenly scrapped and the Queen Mary entangled in legal and repair issues, time passed without the big event taking place.

Canyon Lake parents Debi and Dennis McCartney wanted to make sure their daughter had her wedding day. Three years later, Bree and Tyler were able to take their vows and celebrate with family and friends at the Canyon Lake wedding.

Debi and Dennis have been a part of the Canyon Lake community for four years and were excited to have their daughter‘s wedding in their new hometown.
