Canyon Lake senior picked TCHS Student of Month

Zoë Kays, a senior from Canyon Lake, was honored Tuesday as the Temescal Canyon High School Student of the Month for April. The Lake Elsinore Valley Chamber of Commerce honors the top students from each of the district’s high schools each month.

Zoë, the daughter of Angela Roberts, is planning on a career in software engineering after graduating from a  university with that major. She has been quite busy at TCHS throughout her years there having participated in the Society of Women Engineers and Scientists Club, Titan Cheer and Stunt, the American Sign Language Club and Titan Engineering.

Zoë’s hobbies include coloring, watching ice hockey, learning different languages and photography.

Zoë was honored via a virtual Zoom meeting Tuesday afternoon. As an honoree, Zoë is now eligible to apply for a Student of the Year scholarship, which will be given next month to two of the Students of the Month from the school year for each comprehensive high school.
