‘Night on Broadway’ auditions tomorrow

Auditions for Canyon Lake Community Theater’s ‘Night on Broadway’ are being held tomorrow (Saturday) at the Eastport Annex Building and individuals from the community are being encouraged to participate.

“This review-style show is the perfect opportunity for budding performers young and old to showcase their talent,” Stephanie Vecchione, the club’s vice president of admin, said. “All ages are welcome and encouraged to come audition.”

The show will take place at the Holiday Harbor Amphitheater on May 21. The performance at the amphitheater will be the first show ever performed there by the Canyon Lake Community Theater.

Those interested in being a part of the show, whether members of the club or not, should attend the auditions tomorrow from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Singers and actors of all ages regardless of experience are welcome to attend. Everyone who signs up will be in the show, Stephanie said.

“If you would like to be featured or have a solo part, please come with a one-minute Broadway karaoke-style audition song ready to sing,” Stephanie said.

“The review will feature songs from musicals young and old such as The Sound of Music, Annie, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Peter Pan, Shrek, Mamma Mia and many more.”
