Guild’s ABBA Tribute Concert tomorrow

The Canyon Lake Fine Arts Guild’s first concert of the year takes place tomorrow (Saturday) at the Canyon Lake Lodge. General Admission seats are sold out, but there are a few House Seats still available.

ABBAFab, an ABBA musical tribute band, will take the stage tomorrow and will kick off the year’s tribute concerts put on by the Guild. For the few House Seats still available, contact the Guild at guild@gmail.com or see Brian at will call.

All 2022 concerts, except a free concert in September, will be held in the Holiday Bay Room at the Lodge with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and the concerts beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Having played to sold-out crowds across the U.S. and abroad, the ABBAFab Concert is a multimedia production of some of the greatest music produced in the 1970s and 1980s including monster hits such as Waterloo, Fernando, Honey Honey, Dancing Queen and others. From ABBA’s earliest hits to Mamma Mia, ABBAFab said it will take its audience on an unmatched technicolor journey that is the most entertaining ABBA tribute on the market today.

The Canyon Lake Fine Arts Guild’s next concert will be Tennessee River (Alabama Country) which will take place on May 14, followed by 4NR, a Tribute to Foreigner on July 16.

The Guild’s free concert at Holiday Harbor’s amphitheater returns this year, featuring Rag Dolls, a Tribute to Aerosmith on Sept. 24. Finally, the Guild will wrap up its 2022 concert season with Stone Soul, a classic soul and Motown tribute band, on Nov. 11.

General Admission tickets for the remaining concerts after the ABBAFab Concert tomorrow can be purchased at the Canyon Lake POA office in the Canyon Lake Town Center for $25.00 per ticket.
