All golfers invited to 9ers Valentine tournament

Queen of Hearts will be the theme of the Canyon Lake 9er’s Golf Club’s annual Valentine tournament Feb. 10. Canyon Lake golfers and guests are invited to participate in the fun tournament, the club’s Mavis Schutz said.

Teams can be made up of Jack and Jill or Jill and Jill. Tee off time will be 10:00 a.m. with a shotgun start and play will consist of nine holes. Those participating should check-in between 9:15 and 9:30 a.m.

Entry fee is $30 per person and includes lunch. Green fees and alcohol are not included, however, there will be Happy Hour prices at the bar for tournament participants.

The game play will be best ball with two players per foursome per hole. All who wish to compete will need to sign up at the Canyon Lake Pro Shop by Feb. 7.
