Women’s Golf Club installs officers at annual luncheon

After an exciting Christmas Golf Tournament, the Canyon Lake Women’s Golf Club headed over to the Canyon Lake Lodge for its annual luncheon and installation of board officers. The club is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.

Linda Johnson was installed as the new president. Her board consists of Linda Kamashian, vice president/tournament director; Norma Yarbrough, Tuesday Chair; Kathy  Homewood, Handicap Chair; Sherry Rawlins, Membership Chair; KK Beecher, Corresponding Secretary; Marilyn Bridges, Rules Chair; Barbara Spraul, Recording Secretary; and Ura Furry, Treasurer.

Despite the rainstorm, more than 60 members attended the luncheon and enjoyed both the food and the handing out of yearly golfing awards.
