Kids enjoy breakfast with skiing Santa

Nearly 100 babies, toddlers, elementary, middle and high school kids showed up Saturday to decorate and consume pancakes prepared by the Canyon Lake Ski Club’s Pancake Bob.

“What a great event we had for the community,” Ski Club Board Member Frank Woodman said. “So many children were brought by their family members and much fun was had by all.”

Santa arrived in classic Ski Club style, skiing his way to the pavilion by way of his red and white ski boat, driven, of course, by one of his costumed helpers.

Everyone at the event was able to enjoy their breakfast all while getting to chat with Santa with Christmas music playing in the background.

After greeting the kids and taking several photos, he left by boat again around 11:30 a.m., skiing back to where he had come.
