Firefighter training

Recently-hired firefighters from the Canyon Lake Fire Department worked with Reach Air Medical Services recently to conduct training related to air ambulance protocols in the event these services are needed in Canyon Lake. These air ambulances are able to quickly transport patients to the hospital from the scene of an incident which can save lives if they were to be transported by ground. The city’s new fire department’s first day of service is Jan. 1.
