City invites all to Dec. 4 Winter Wonderland event

The Canyon Lake Town Center will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland on Dec. 4 where the city Christmas tree lighting ceremony will take place and children will enjoy a variety of free games and rides.

The City of Canyon Lake, in collaboration with the Canyon Lake Family Matters Club, is hosting the Winter Wonderland & Tree Lighting Ceremony from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Santa arrives at 4:30 p.m. and the Christmas Tree Lighting will take place at 6:30 p.m.

Snow will be brought in for sledding and festive Canyon Lakers will also be able to participate in train rides, a petting zoo, visits with Santa, decorating, carnival games and a candy land maze.

Food trucks will be available at different times throughout the event. In-n-Out will serve from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Baja Eats from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and JK Catering from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
