In Memoriam: Gino Vogliardo

Gino Vogliardo, a longtime resident of Canyon Lake, passed away on Nov. 7 at the age of 30 in a very tragic accident in Lake Elsinore.

Gino was a very funny, compassionate person with a huge heart. He was always ready to help his friends and always had a smile on his face.

Gino Vogliardo

Gino started riding dirt bikes at the age of 10. By age 11 he had his first big accident that landed him in the hospital for 30 days and sent him home in a body cast for two months. This accident didn’t stop my little boy from riding dirt bikes. Gino loved the sport, but the sport that made him the happiest and that he so loved, ended up taking his life.

Gino is survived by his mom Lucy Vogliardo, his sister Mechelle Vogliardo and his step dad Alan Coffield, all of whom are also long-time Canyon Lake residents. He also leaves so many friends who loved him very much.

His memorial services will be held on Nov. 23 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Miller-Jones Mortuary, 26770 Murrieta Rd., Sun City.

A Go Fund Me campaign has been set up to assist the family: Gofund.me/22c5e6c8.
