Woman’s Club to hold annual auction Thursday

The annual auction of the Canyon Lake Woman’s Club is being held Wednesday morning and all in the community and their friends are invited to both contribute items to be auctioned and to purchase items at the auction.

The auction will take place at the Canyon Lake Lodge beginning at 10:00 a.m.

The club is also asking for donations. Club members are looking for items that are gently used or new. Suggestions for donations include designer purses, shoes, sunglasses, scarves, jewelry, crystal, China, and holiday decor,

“We are also looking for baked goods, such as pies, cookies, cakes, fudge, and candy on platters or boxed,” the club’s Samantha Gorrell said. “The donations must be delivered to the lodge prior to the auction on Wednesday.”
