Homemade goods, food sold at Senior Center Holiday Boutique

Hundreds of Canyon Lakers and their guests took advantage of a unique community shopping event where over 40 vendors provided homemade wares for holiday gift-giving. The Canyon Lake Senior Center Holiday Boutique brought the buyers and sellers together at the Senior Center Saturday and Sunday.

The vendors were set up both inside and outside the Canyon Lake Senior Center. The crowds shopped for a huge variety of both crafts and treats.  Vendors provided their unique handcrafted holiday decorations, candles, knitted and quilted items, dog wear, plants, jewelry, kitchen decor and trinkets. Other vendors sold homemade jams, candies, salsa and fudge.

The event is a holiday tradition, but also a major fundraiser for the Senior Center each year. The Senior Center Work Group puts on the event and it expressed gratitude after the hectic weekend for the vendors for all their hard work and also to everyone for coming and supporting the vendors.

Shoppers inside and outside the Canyon Lake Senior Center flock to the annual Senior Center Holiday Boutique this past weekend. The event is the major fundraiser for the center.
