Women’s Golf Club invites donations at Pro Shop

Christmas trees for members of the military will be provided from the proceeds of both a Canyon Lake Women’s Golf Club tournament to be held Nov. 20 and donations made at the Pro Shop.

The club is also looking for donations outside of the tournament to go toward the purchase of these trees. Donations for the cause can be made by going to the Canyon Lake Golf Pro Shop at the Country Club. A box in the Pro Shop is set up to accept donation checks (made out to “Canyon Lake Women’s Golf Club”).

“Trees for Troops” is a national organization that provides Christmas trees to the military and will receive the funds raised by the tournament.

The golf club is encouraging members of the various Canyon Lake golf clubs to participate in the charitable tournament that will take place on Nov. 20. The tournament is set for the Canyon Lake Golf Course and will have a Jack ‘n Jill and Jill ‘n Jill format.

A sign up sheet to enter the tournament is available at the Canyon Lake Pro Shop. Participants must have a handicap to play in the tournament.
