CL families camp out for early Halloween

Several families from Canyon Lake bound together for a unique Halloween family activity at Vail Lake near Temecula last week Motorhomes, trailers and vehicles were decorated for Halloween and the kids dressed up and went trick or treating amongst themselves.

The kids at the camp said they enjoyed being dressed up in their costumes and being allowed to eat as much candy as they like.

The Canyon Lake families had a variety of activities including pumpkin carving, cookie decorating and crafts. The families even took a field trip into a tiny town where they enjoyed more activities together such as making tye-dye shirts and playing a round or two of mini golf.

The Addams Family was on the agenda one night as everyone gathered around and spent time together.

The whole idea behind this annual camping trip is for parents to spend time away with their children as they build lifelong friendships with their families and friends that come along for the four-day campout.
