Twenty local Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce or community members came out to enjoy an evening of getting to know one another, painting, and partaking of beverages and goodies.
The Chamber of Commerce partnered with Daisy Dukez to host its first-ever member to member event. The event was sold out.
“Paint & Sip & Network” started with laughter and conversation as guests arrived. People were greeted and encouraged to mingle and to have some drinks and goodies that were set out for enjoyment.
In addition to the sipping and networking, there was painting. Each participant was given a canvas, painting supplies and a smock and were given step-by-step instructions on how to paint a replica of the master lighthouse painting.
“We are so excited to see the turnout,” Joseph DeCasperis, Chamber Director of Member Events, said. “Our Chamber members are engaged and eager to meet with fellow businesses, all while relaxing in the paint and sip setting. The Chamber is always appreciative of its event sponsors, like Daisy Dukez, and is looking forward to its next event in the fall.”
“The community needs more small businesses,” Sunni Johnson, a Canyon Lake resident and owner of Charcuteries by Sunni, said. “Events like this are so good for the community.” Sunni and her daughter Kimberli, the local business owner of Moxie Glam, said they were happy to be able to meet more people in the community and enjoy a night out with some drinks and fun.
