Park excavation

The preliminary excavation for the Large Mechanically Stabilized Earth retaining walls took place this week at the Sierra Park North construction project. These walls will create level pads for the pump track and other key components of the park, which is being built on a formerly unusable, very steep and hilly site. These walls make up a large portion of the project budget, and they will turn unusable land into usable park space. This major park construction project was approved by member voters at the last POA election.
