Adopt a Pet: Roscoe

Handsome 3-year-old Rottweiler Roscoe can be a bit wary of strangers initially, which is typical for his breed as they protect their families, but can easily warm up as soon as he knows you’re OK. Once he knows you, he is one of the most friendly and outgoing family dogs.

There is an emphasis on “family” due to his love for children, and when it comes to other dogs, he is very curious and loves meeting new canine friends. He goes to shelter events without an issue, as he can handle crowds and loud sounds. Overall, Roscoe is an energetic big teddy bear of a boy who already knows some commands, and can be very polite and cordial.
