In Memoriam: Bette Baker

Bette Baker (Bette Stone), age 83, went home to be with the Lord on July 5, 2021.

Bette grew up in Pasadena/Temple City, and married Dale Baker in 1958. After living many years in the midwest, she lived in Canyon Lake from 1986 to 1998 where she was a member of the Canyon Lake Community Church. After Dale’s passing, she moved to Louisville where she married Alan Stone in 2003.

Bette was caring, insightful, and quietly generous. After being estranged from her daughter, she wrote poetry on loss, which can be read at planetwatchtower.us/web/poetry. Her hobbies included hiking, stained glass, and Bible study.
