Family Matters Club scooping up ice cream for all

“Everyone is considered a member of the Canyon Lake Family Matters Club,” Shawna Bowen, the club’s founding member, said. “There are no dues to belong to this nonprofit club.”

To get that message across to the Canyon Lake community, the club is holding an Ice Cream Social and is inviting everybody to join them for free ice cream, while it lasts. The old-fashioned Ice Cream Social will be held Sunday at Holiday Harbor for an hour beginning at 2:00 p.m.

“We are having a ‘meet and greet’ with the Family Matters Club Board,” Shawna said. “Get to know us and find out what we have planned for the rest of the year and into 2022. Ask us questions on how you can get involved and be a part of all the wonderful events put on by the Family Matters Club.”
